V12 Testing Thread

Cool... This has been fixed. CHECKED!

When simply running 1 MN from a local Hot wallet, it now starts automatically? ... we don't issue masternode start command anymore?
 
v0.12.0.37

* trying to change to amount / rounds sometimes takes two tries instead of one try when running multiple windows wallets at once
(it only changes in overview section after a second try, in the options its changed after 1st try)
* had some wallets loosing connections and also not getting mixing transactions confirmed. Deleted peers.dat & mncache.date & did a -reindex -zapwallettxes on all of them.
will see if it happens again.

* a lot of wallet connections get dropped again during Darksend mixing (some wallets are dropped to only 1 connection) but the mixing transactions seem to get confirmed so far..
* the number of masternodes seem very stable on the other hand (total, ds comp / enabled form all the same number in my wallets .. good sync)

I think there's some weirdness in the old wallet.dats from testing v12 even though all the coins are gone but the addresses never got wiped off so I'm guessing we need to get rid of those too in order to test DS correctly?
 
It would be helpful, when all of this is finalized, to have a "Decentralized Governance by Blockchain" for dummies, with easy-to-follow instructions on how to prepare a proposal, view a proposal, and vote on a proposal, for all of the people who are currently lost such as me!

If someone sends me the info ELI5, I could create this guide, and buster and tungfa could create the vids...

It's not that hard and i wouldn't want to make it too easy for spammers.

I think that's a good idea... after I realized coins were gone for good, I figured best start from scratch

The same here.
MN runs without issues but usual qt is losing connections.
I tried to mix before and lost connection. Now tried without mixing and it lost it as well

I pretty much think anyone involved with Dash knows that easy to follow directions will surely pop-up, like mushrooms, once a final first version is released out into the wild. Until then, this is testnet, where versions and tweaks change faster than underwear :tongue:

Everyone's invited to join. I read-up from page 1 through 75 in one go, just to catch up, and barely keeping up to date, but happily sitting in the sidelines watching the test group pros rock 'n roll.
