Hi TanteStefana ! I think the more hard forks we have on Testnet, and the more solutions Evan can find to fix, the less hard forks will happen on Mainnet. I think...

The way the network is supposed to work, the miners are supposed to decide on the blockchain that is valid. However, when there is a fork, everyone's wallet gets out of sync and many people are basically off line for a while before realizing it. I'm wondering, is there a problem with having a self correcting wallet? Could there be such a thing, or does that leave things open for hacking?
I guess it probably leaves holes for hacking.... so er... nevermind...

Forgive me here, I've worked last week on hubbie's book intensely, and I'm finding my brain is seriously burned out, I usually have short term memory issues, but boy, I feel like it's extra bad ATM, LOL. What if -reindexing, only needs to process say... a week's worth of blockchain instead of 5 years, as in the case of Bitcoin? I mean, I never ever want to have to reindex my bitcoin blockchain, it took days to download (or it seemed, LOL) Perhaps a new command and setup could be made where you have a choice. It could go back # of blocks, or maybe a set interval of blocks get a special backup spot, and you can -reindex 2 backups back, or 5 backups back, each backup actually a day's worth or a weeks worth, etc.... Wouldn't that be handy?

DS reset button doesn't reset the DS balance. If you want to start over, send the whole amount to yourself and start over.
