We made it very clear that Evolution is still in a very early alpha state, so sorry if it currently does not work for you. I'll have a look at a Linux packaging the next days and provide them at dash.org download page.

Re. the repos: https://github.com/dashpay/electrum-dash is upstream repo for Electrum, https://github.com/evan82/electrum-dash/tree/v13-evo-demo is Evans working copy for Evolution branch.

People seem to expecting alot lately, maybe its time for some sort of opinion on this subject from our local divine one.

By no means is that a shot at Evan, more like noone listen unless Evan talks, so he should drop an opinion into the mix here and there to keep people moving forward.

Thanks. I understand it's very early alpha state no problem with that. The documentation is what is very confusing and all over the place. There are 3 linux 'readme' files alone in the package, lol. No rush dude I was just excited about this and got a little frustrated because I usually get things working. I'll keep giving it a go see if I can get it up and running in the current stage.

I don't have grand expectations from these guys, I just want to participate in the fun of Evolution and decided to ask for help. If someone can help me great, if not Ill keep tinkering with my machine and see if I can get it working.

I wasn't referring to you sorry.

Just the overall attitude of this forum.

Every seems to have high expectations, even though most of them aren't doing anything except upping that forum post count.

I hear you, there are still many loose ends :)

It took me 3 days to get a working exe for Windows, as the build system is a mess and undocumented. But we are improving: https://dashpay.atlassian.net/builds/browse/ELCTRMW

Linux is next on my list.

Okay my bad thank you for clarifying! You are right too, many expectations and everyone getting let down because those expectations are not met.

Nah, this is not new. People are expecting much since almost 2 years now, while only few are actually contributing. Getting used to it :)
