Our team and CEO were fortunate to visit the 24th Digital Dealer Expo, home to the cutting edge of the automotive industry, showcasing advancements in technology, latest trends and the most innovative companies. The conference was an incredible success as we were able to make many valuable connections, including business development professionals and the CIO of a large car auction company.

Congratulations everyone! VINchain was a successful ICO!

It has been a great pleasure to meet you and we thank you for your support. Our Initial Coin Offering (ICO) has ended after launching on February 1st. ICO was an amazing period for all of us as we met and surpassed all of our goals, including collecting the soft cap quickly enough that we are able to launch in the USA now. In total we have collected 12570 ETH thus far! Congratulations to all of you!

Results from the ICO

Our ICO has finished and right now it’s time to calculate all the results! First of all we want to say thank you all for being with us all this time. It has been a pleasure to get to know all of you and we couldn’t be happier to have such a wonderful community!

Our ICO has been held from the 1st of February till the 15th of April and during this time we have achieved great results! During the ICO we have sold 319,899,404 tokens! It would never been possible without you!

110,000,000 tokens are reserved for the partner ABetterBid. They will invest a total of $2 mln over the course of two years, so for that entire duration the tokens will remain locked.

4,298,994 tokens will be distributed for the bounty program! 16,749,355 tokens will be distributed for our affiliate program, thanks for all who take part!

Total amount of tokens to be distributed:
450,947,753

Total amount of tokens to be burned:
161,542,147

All the tokens will be distributed within this week, we will make an announcement before that! We will be listed on exchanges 4 - 6 weeks after the ICO! Thank you all for being with us all this time!
 
How to Swap Your Tokens

We are ready to distribute your tokens to all of you. In order for you to get your tokens everyone must first go through a token swap. This is a quick and easy procedure. Please take a few minutes to read the instructions carefully.

Also, we have a small change in the amount of tokens burned. First of all, some people have paid straight on our wallet so we will send 1,480,765.225 tokens to them. Second, some people have been paying from an exchange and 102,552.1135 tokens will be sent to them. Some people forgot to enter the ETH address and 77,730 tokens will be used for them. So in total, we will have 840,108,901 tokens in total supply and 159,891,099 tokens will be burned.

- You can do the token swap from any wallet!!! (not just MyEtherWallet)
- Even if you have imtoken or any other wallet, you still go to this link https://www.myetherwallet.com/signmsg.html to create the signature

⚠️ ERRORS:
- Zero token error: if your dashboard is showing you that you have 0 tokens in your wallet then don't worry, our dashboard will update tomorrow. Just wait and it will be fixed automatically
- The source of the "invalid data" error that some are getting - its when you copy/paste between chrome tabs on MEW - it leaves in some space characters at the start of every line if you remove these FOR EVERY LINE it works

Don boasts a wealth of experience, currently serving as VP of Financial Planning and Analysis at Sonic Automotive, a Fortune 500 publicly-traded automotive dealer. Furthermore, he oversees the analytics group that develops pricing and inventory models for Sonic’s used vehicle supercenters. In the past he developed his expertise at one of the largest homebuilding companies and in the retail industry. He achieved a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in finance from Pennsylvania State University.

There’s no doubt Don’s diverse expertise will help VINchain achieve our goals as we continue to spread globally and launch in the United States.

VINchain final results of the week!

As many of you already know, we have been waiting for the majority of the ICO participants to complete the token swap. Right now we can say that not enough people have went through the token swap, and so for those of you who have yet to go through the swap - Please do so now! We cannot wait any longer - and we will unlock the tokens at the end of the week!

If you don’t swap now, you will have to pay a commission later!!!
Currently you can still swap your tokens without paying a commission. Once the tokens are unlocked at the end of this week, you will have to pay a transaction fee in order to complete the tokens swap. Please hurry and do the token swap now!

After the tokens are swapped and unlocked they will reside in your VINchain wallet. The wallet will officially be released this week. Please remember that the security of your wallet is guaranteed by your private key, so ALWAYS make sure to keep your private key safe! - We cannot recover your private key if it is lost or stolen!

Q) What is a token swap?
A) As you all know we will be using our own blockchain (not Etherium) and our own VINchain wallet that you can use to store your VIN tokens! In order for our tokens to be stored in your wallet, they first have to be converted from the Ethereum based tokens that they are now, into VINchain blockchain compatible tokens. This is known as a token swap.
Q) Why is a token swap necessary?
A) You have to go through a token swap so that your tokens become tradable, transferable, and usable.

A) Everyone has to go through a token swap

SWAP update!

Dear VINchain community,

We have a wonderful announcement for you. As many you are aware, the swap is stopped for now. We have been waiting a few weeks for people to go through the change, but we can no longer delay. Right now, we are in the process of switching to our own blockchain. On monday we will unlock the VIN tokens of people who have gone through with the swap, and they will receive them in their new VIN wallet. After this period, all who haven’t yet had the opportunity to make the switch will have the chance to do so. When this becomes available once more, we will send new instructions on how to make the switch!

We have decided that the swap will be for FREE for everyone. There are only 1500 people left who need to make the swap, and VINchain will cover the transaction fee expenses. Please follow our announcements next week for new instructions and make the swap as soon as you are able.
