Hi all, I am editing a video on the Dash fastmine. I read a technical reason why the Dash maximum of coins was reduced from 84 million coins. I can't find the explanation. Please help if you can. cheers D . Australia.
Why was the Dash mining Max reduced from 84000000 coins please.

Xcoin supply once was 84mill, and Evan reduced it to 22mill for DRK

I know this is not news. I recall coming across a technical reason as to why the max coin supply was decreased from 84 million to about 18 million. I realise 18 million is close to bitcoins 21 million and 84 million is close to Litecoin...but, I seem to recall there was a more technical reason due to mining rewards or something? Please help if you can. cheers
