Why do I need to hold 1000 Dash in masternode?

Masternode has to have wallet with 1000 Dash in it
Masternode has to have "masternode outputs" in order to start
How can i make it safer?
If I move later 1000 Dash from masternode back to cold wallet then masternode will stop working...

You can store your 1,000 Dash on a Trezor hardware wallet and use this https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/gui-tool-for-running-masternode-with-trezor.13748/. That's by far the safest

Follow instructions in the wiki and do not put any dash to your masternode, use hot-cold configuration.

you can also test most of this all on testnet first to be comfortable so you don't take a wrong step...

Not that an adult would consider acceptable, no.

If you've got 1000 DRKs, you are insane not to use a Trezor/KeepKey.
