What is Dash.org about??

Dash.org is a website maintained by Dash Core Group.

Dash Core Group maintains software that advances that Dash Network.

And the Dash Network provides the ability for people to use Digital Cash.
Right now, Digital Cash can be traded for goods and services. It's intended to be peer-to-peer cash that does not need a bank to operate.
 
Is Dash legitimate? If my memory serves me correctly, I saw a YouTube video of the maintainers of Dash being asked some pointed questions.

Is Dash distributed in a thoughtful way? What are your thoughts on Dash?

Yes, a lot of top tier coins have had detractors, but Dash works as advertised and is in the middle of its emission cycle for total coin supply.
