What types of information is expected? Obviously when Evan or someone important tosses up a 2 liner and it passes with no issue, yet anyone else is expected to do extensive homework, prior to asking for a vote.
What information is expected? Obviously the fields need to get filled out, but beyond that, whats the standard when it comes to a MN proposal? We spend all this time saying how awesome it is to have voting, yet we still don't have standards for doing so, so people are going to propose things and simply get downvoted to failure before they get started unless they have community pull or a legitimately genius idea and do half the work before the proposal gets submitted, just like what happened with IX Soda Machine.
If the soda machine didn't have the endorsements it did, or half the work done before the proposal was submitted, it would have never happened. And we wouldn't have it right now. Don't forget this please.
I think we need to figure out how to make proposal simpler, maybe a template should be stickied in the forum, and we should also add a section to talk about proposals specifically in this/the new forum.
