v0.11.2.x Testing

Here, might have found something, on the (masternode) machine that gets only 6 yea votes,
Sporking:

and after the masternode is successfully started and listed, still have this,

On the 88 yea's none masternode machine only have the spork showing.

I usually get this message for the first hour or two after updating the MN until the MN sync's with the rest of the network. If your MN does not show up in DashNinja's testnet MN explorer, this is the issue.
 
Test wallet reset button did not work, getting "no funds in need of denominating".

Create a dash.conf file with just one line: testnet=1
Run the wallet.
Get some test coins from here: http://test.faucet.dashninja.pl/
Start Darksend mixing.

I've actually been getting those same messages on a couple of mainnet masternodes. I keep having to restart them as they get delisted after a while.
 
Also...I already have a wallet running masternodes on my current system. Does this save automatically into a testnet folder?.... before I install it tnx

I would recommend for you to make a separate folder to avoid the mix up and whatever.
 
yikes...yeah I installed it...and it attached itself to my 10MNs i have on this machine. So...how to i tell it to install in another folder? I'm assuming that would have broken my MNs...so I went to the old qt and did a start many again....
 
OS: Linux 64
Wallet version : 11.2.19

version 11.2.19 works smooth and sharp for me~ there is still some bugs need to be fixed..
Bugs:
- getinfo still shows : 11.2.18
- The Chinese translation is still 暗黑币(Darkcoin) not 达世币(Dash)
- masternode vote works for me but maybe it's better with a response result like "vote submitted successfully".
 
Moli, while you're at it, how bout sharing how I can set up a testnet masternode. I'm sure I've asked this before, and been answered, but never had a chance to follow through on it. I have t-dash ready to go...

edit--I'm on Arch Linux and all the guides I see are aimed at M$ or Apple.

I know little about MN setup and hate it. Sorry, you have to ask someone else .. :)
 
bigrcanada , Ok so you already have the dash-qt.exe that you downloaded and stored somewhere....
First off, let's create a separate folder with no MNs or real money in it....

In C:\ create a new folder, name it "TESTNET". Move your dash-qt.exe to this folder, also create another folder there and name it "Dash".
Now your screen should look similar to this:

Open Notepad, type just one line: testnet=1, save it as "dash.conf". Then put this file in the "Dash" folder as you see above.

Right click on dash-qt.exe, choose "Create Shortcut". Move this shortcut to your desktop.
Right click on this shortcut, choose "Properties" and you'll see a screen similar to this:

Make sure in "Target" you have this line: C:\TESTNET\dash-qt.exe -datadir=C:\TESTNET\Dash -listen=0
Click "Apply", and "OK".

Click on the shortcut to run your Testnet wallet and let it sync (it will sync fast!)

Once it syncs you will see this in your "Dash" folder:

Click on "testnet3" you'll see the contents much like your regular wallet for Mainnet:

You get the Receiving address just like your Mainnet wallet and use it to get some Test coins (fake DASH) from the faucet:
http://test.faucet.dashninja.pl/
Once the coins are there, start the Darksend mixing..
