I think I've got it, I've replicated at least 3 times. When you manually select 1 input and send it's entire exact amount, it won't broadcast. Selecting 1 input but sending lower amount, it goes straight through.

Sometimes it asks for a fee even though its 1 input, so subtracting that to include the fee, again spending the entire input, also won't broadcast.

EDIT: Same exact behaviour for 2x inputs. Yey! I found a bug.

Ah, I know what's causing that to fail. It's fixed in the repo currently. Basically the client didn't send enough in fees for IX to work:

tDRK Transaction fee: -0.00022
 
How many verifications are required for Instant X to go through? I thought I read 20 somewhere here, and mine went through after 6 (green checkmark) Is it different in testnet than it will be in mainnet?

yep, done that but with 256. Seems to cap out at 60
 
For reference, the exact input txes that I InstantX'ed finally did eventually broadcast as regular tx, IX verification failed.
 
yidakee, I tested IXing 1000 tDRK (no Darksend) twice by sending from one wallet to another on my computer, and they both were a success. The second time it was even faster with 6 confirmations, and the green check marks showed up within seconds. (The amount won't actually be available to spend until it gets 6 PoW confirms, but still, it's amazing to see):

Yes, I darksent the 22.3 and 33.3 but only the 22.3 darksend worked with instantX.
And 11.1 sent with only instantX worked fine.

Windows v.11.1.17 - Selected 100.001 tDRK from Coin Control to Darksend/InstantX , but the wallet became unresponsive and had to be shut down.
