Right. I've got a party to go to. An unfortunately civilised one at that. If I carry on sitting here playing with testnet and drinking beer I'll make a tit of myself.

maybe we should increase the testnet mining difficulty so we can properly test InstantX and then put it back to low
mining difficulty later on to test Darksend mixing (which still needs some looking into)

Diff shouldn't affect either IX or DS mixing.

doesnt the diff influence POW ? low diff gets blocks faster confirmed, high diff gets blocks slower confirmed ?
To make it more easy to evaluate the working of InstantX we could have the blocks get slower confirmed thereby
giving us a good pic what InstantX is doing exactly when we test it.

edit : or maybe limit the Testnet network hashrate during InstantX testing...

No. All blocks have a target time of two and a half minutes. Higher hashrates just make the blocks harder to find.

Hmm, haven't managed a successful IX in the last 20+ attempts, restarting client or not. Which is annoying, because I've been screenvidding each attempt.

Looks like I'm having the same problem. Receiving and sending.

Transactions are taking the "regular" time.
 
Just woke up over here, you guys sound like you have been having fun playing with IX. I want in now :p.
