too many inputs

Hi,

Tried to send some dash from my wallet for the first time today but I got the message "transaction too large". I noticed that I have some 897 inputs. I tried selecting a bunch manually and sending them to myself to try to consolidate them but now I have 1009 inputs.

I think mixing created all these inputs plus I have some mining inputs.

How can I clean up the inputs so that I can send DASH.

Try sending smaller amounts - this should select lower number of inputs and tx should propagate.

We did that on testnet ;)
The topic is about creating tx with 1000s of inputs, not about creating block with 1000s txes.

You can only fit ~670 inputs in one tx (100KB / 148 bytes per input iirc).

I have 5k+ small txs (p2pool rewards), and all selected is about 700kb, so I wanted to try consolidate it by 1 tx, but now I need new plan :(

But with current price direction, even small tx become large in $ equivalent, and no need to consolidate :)
Except that inputs window opens and works not fast..
