Switching from Dash Core to Cold Storage

Hi there,

I have been running my MasterNode on my Dash Core wallet. I'm ready to move from Dash Core wallet to cold storage. Would it be best to move wallets after I get paid so I don't lose my self in line? Would I lose the dash I've built up so far the past few days or would it still remember where I was? Hope you can understand what I'm talking about.

If you move the Dash to another address, you will lose your place in line. You will need to issue another start command from the new address, which will put you at the back of the line. When you say "cold storage", it's not easy to start a masternode from e.g. a paper wallet. Best practice is current to use a hardware wallet together with Dash Masternode Tool.
