Proposal: Mass Adoption Cornerstone in Estonia and Beyond

Hey everyone!

We are starting this topic to bring attention to and to discuss the improved version of our proposal that will be the cornerstone of mass adoption in Estonia and the Baltics.

To fully understand the scope and impact of this proposal, please take your time and read our proposal.

We have delivered multiple successful proposals in the past and we are obviously very excited about this one! This is something that really matters.

Pretty cool that NFC tech.

You might want to put a summary of what your proposal is about in the first post here. You would probably benefit from more graphics in your proposal and showing your team's faces in a video.

My friend, thank you for your reply and feedback. We have done that part when we launched our first proposal. Also if you check the proposal, you'll see a pre-proposal link to a thread that includes videos with all the team faces.

Awesome. Why not put that stuff into this proposal, too? :)

Marketing that makes the customer work is less successful than marketing that creates flow and ease for the customer.
 
Hi, we have a small update:

We have implemented BIP32 HD wallets functionality into our POS system.
Using hierarchical deterministic wallets greatly improves transaction privacy, because one extended private key on a NFC chip can be used to derive a virtually unlimited amount of addresses/keys.
Tapping the NFC wristband sends the change back to a new address every time, similarly how qt (Core) or Electrum wallet works.

Hi community,

The festival is over and it is time to give you an overview of what happened.

On the first day of the festival, everything was going smoothly until we started encountering some WiFi connectivity problems with food trucks. Because of the large influx of guests, we had to make a tough decision and enabled concurrent usage of dash, cash and card.

Once allowing cash and card to be used, unfortunately we were not able to revert to a “100% dash only” policy on the following days. Nevertheless, we received very good feedback from our guests and bar staff.

During and after the event, we were approached by multiple event organizers and club managers. Some of them are interested and want to use the system, but we must turn it into a modular, flexible “turnkey” solution that is easy to set up, maintain and extend.

Here are some statistics about Dash usage at the event:

Dash wallets: 1000+
Dash transactions: 2321 (24.5% of all transactions)
Dash transaction volume: 18,827 EUR (8.11 EUR average)


We would like to thank Fernando and the Core team for the support and help during the whole process.

It was all possible because of great team effort before, after and during the festival. We learned a lot as a team in the process and we now know for sure that there is always a solution to every possible issue at hand. After putting it all together we are ready for the next steps.
