non-wallet or invalid address for a fresh address

Hello everyone!!

Im updating a MN for a client (yes kind of late, but he has the keys and im the ops), anyways DASH is sync and running on the MN and the client pc.

But when I run protx register_prepare I get "non-wallet or invalid address", and thats the address I got from getnewaddress.

Im doing everything from dash core.

Is the wallet unlocked?

Yes it was. I ran the command from the guide to have it unlocked while setting the MN up.

Can you provide more details of the steps you took? Can you run validateaddress on the addresses you are using to ensure they are in the wallet and valid?
