Hello guys!
I have been a long time supporter of dash (sub 1$) and I had a masternode running but was forced to liquidate at 12$ one month before 150$. I have been supporting dash many-many years long term. Does anyone know a way to turn back time please let me know.
I have been dabbing with dev convos with Evan and I was the one suggesting anon donations as well.
But what I really thought of lately is the expansion of crypto and how the everyday people (not techy savy or early investers, but the newcomers!) now recognizes it and how it is to the public being more and more accessible and used.
With this - hand in hand with also more "make money online sites" are arising. So many of these are scams and I have lost thousands of dollars on that too( net profit ). ( not having a good track record ). But to pinpoint what I want to convey:
There is no protection. You wanna try a site or a business and you send (BTC usually) to a random wallet and might never see your money again. With the new feature in DASH Evolution as reimburse to merchants or buyers - can't there be a similar function to a wallet that can hedge to masternodes collateral <-- bad example but fills function) ( or something new techy devy).
Then a site that is legit can be "scam proof marked" due to a money back option that is not solely in the hands of the business.
I am just thinking that so many people would be very good of with this as there are many idiots like me on the net who throw money at shyyyyte. And if you can capture the market of online business the value of dash will soar like there is no tomorrow.
The only tech solutions that my tiny brain can muster would be to make some coins statically active - or side chain verification to the blockchain that can later be re-integrated.
Any ideas or reflections on this?

I first came across DASH during its earlier incarnation in late spring 2014. I CPU mined for a very short period of time - just wanted to see if my machine could handle it (it barely survived the experience).
After a couple years away, I am thrilled to be back part of DASH again!

I finally found my way over here... When I broke into cryptocurrencies, I mined BTC, profitably, until the ASIC wars began... I lost my shirt, thanks to delays from Butterfly Labs and HashFast... These days, I'm trying to get back on my feet. I'm an IT guy with experience in ERP software and fleet management systems. I split most of my time between process engineering and data architecting. I have also dabbled in desktop publishing and EMS/QMS (ISO 9000/14000).
Back in 2012, it was my hope to convert my QuickDraw lottery program to Bitcoin, and have my mining operation pay for it. I originally wrote it in Visual Studio, with SQL and Visual Basic components. Since then, I've become a proponent of open source projects, and have been converting my stuff to Qt and Python. I really like the new look of Qt5.8/5.9, and I have fallen in love with Python 3.6 & PyQt. I'm only cutting my teeth on the Blockchain and PyBigchainDB libraries. Today, I found a few Dash libraries, and I see they include BigchainDB. Awesome!
I was a member of the Bitcoin Foundation, when Jon Matonis took over and two new seats were added to the Board of Directors. I didn't miss a single Let's Talk Bitcoin podcast during the debates. When I see the current state of Bitcoin, I can see their governance issues, and it makes me wonder about the influence of corrupt banksters--especially while Ross Ulbricht sits in jail. I think the Bitcoin developers need a swift kick in their complacency, and I think Dash is well-positioned to do it. Ethereum bothers me, especially when I see Microsoft and the big banks have joined forces with it.
Anyway, I'm currently in Canada and looking for new opportunities.

You seem like someone that could make a new idea happen. What do you think Dash is missing? You may be able to get some funding to help build it.

Greatinx from Austria like the most i startet with BTC (in 2014) then i got sick an tierd about BTC Drama in 2016 alreddy back then and just got in toutch 2016 with Dash and found a Home for my Future and never did complain about it since then.....

Hello everyone.
I am new to Crypto and Dash, a buddy at work keeps telling me to invest in Bitcoin, but I didn't want to, because I couldn't use it like paper money, or my credit card. I am a techie, and free software open source nut. I have been interested in crypto mining for sometime, but not actually tried it becasue A. Everyone I spoke to said it's too late for small miners and GPU, and B. because I could'nt figure out how it was going to be spent and used.
Then I found Dash, and @amanda_b_johnson Dash detailed videos, I think I have watched almost all of them in the last 10 days.
I am mining now using my PC and a GTX970 and I have 0.02 Dash 'YaY'
I am a software development manager, whilst not as good as the dev's who work with me, I can get by. I write Python, PHP, Golang, C++ have some experience with QT and QT Creator ( wrote a couple of apps for Ubuntu phone, I love Linux )r
I am very chatty, and optimistic, had a keen interest in politics for several years, dropped that now though, movin on.
Claim to fame: I helped found the Open Source Consortiun in the UK and became elected as it's CEO, where I was invited to speak on Open Source and Free Software at the European Parliament. I represented the OSC when we took an anti-trust case out against the BBC and Microsoft for attempting to lock users into the Windows platform with iPlayer and Silverlight, and we Won!!!
Enough waffle from me, glad I found you folks
