Missing 1000 coins after darksend

I lost 1000 dash coins, tried to be a masternode.
had 1662 coins

backups were made 24/05/2014 and 05 June 2014


Now on my new laptop I see this loss
Ubuntu 16, dash v12, backup wallet from 2014

Please help, what to do?

primary wallet is sitting in another laptop in another country in virtualbox...
i really don't like darksend now :)
no good deed goes unpunished

so now I have 2015 darksend mix, lost 1000 coins
and now in 2016 oct 23 another 660 coins are stuck in darksend

I have got 0 coins and no way to get my coins back

two different sets of private keys, total chaos, no clue what to do...
how do I get my 1660 coins back so I could sell them and run away from this mess
 
Sorry, but you really need to be careful with your wallet files when dealing with any cryptocurrency. The automatic backups help reduce the likelihood of losing funds but aren't a replacement for keeping your own backups and maintaining proper security.
 
Can I at least get my 660 coins back, forget about lost 1000 coins?
They are in darksend stuck, my balance shows 660 coins, but inputs are in darksend

Had no issues with litecoin or bitcoin, the only trouble maker is dash darkcoin.
Not friendly

Why not make 10 000 key by default?
1 masternode session and I am out of 1000 keys
systematic error, accidents waiting to happen

Any backup made BEFORE the mixing session would be missing the new addresses created during mixing after the backup was made. If you still have your primary wallet intact in another country, the coins are not "lost", they are simply inaccessible to you at the moment, as your backup wallet is simply missing the private keys associated with the mixing. It may be inconvenient, but you will need to wait until you can access your main wallet once you are back home. Nothing is "stuck in DarkSend".

this statement speaks for itself. And the list of transactions does not give any clue. Losing the keys (wallet file) is deadly for any cryptocurrency

@europound do you have the 1000 DASH transaction id ? Which wallet version have you used?

But what's up is now then?
So yesterday 22 OCT 2016 I downloaded Dash 0.12.0.58 to new laptop
Copied wallet.dat from 5/2014 backup
Synced, saw 660 coins left
And pressed darksend mix again and lost 660 coins

How do I combine two wallets Another country old laptop + new laptop/old backup into one wallet?
How do I get my money back from darksend void ?

I thought I was a masternode, but it is not that easy, but still lost 1000 coins after pressing darksend mix button, every time you press it you lose coins

there is no single 1000 transaction, but by chunks coins are being lost

what happened to your 660 DASH is strange - do you have the mixing transactions?

Do i have to remove old wallet.dat and dash-qt makes a new wallet?

then copy new wallet address, then delete new wallet.dat and change to old wallet.dat then from that wallet send to new wallet address?
basically swapping wallets for every event?
 
Is my understanding right, when Pipy mixed 620 DASH 2 rounds he used more than 1000 new addresses? Thats a big problem in my eyes. I mean you not only can loose your current used wallet on a live system. HDDs, SSDs, USB Sticks, whatever... can crash everytime, Shouldn't the keypool cover at least one mixing session? At least a warning before start mixing if its the case: "This Darksend operation exceeds your currend keypool size. In case of Hardware failure you will loose all your coins! Please create a wallet with keypool > x and try again".
