How to link users?

To highlight darkadmin, i need to know his user ID and write something like that:

[USER=1]darkadmin[/USER]

I see people frequently using this to highlight (and notify) people. Is there a button for that? If not, would be nice.

You don't even need to know the full user name. You get suggestions as you type.
