Help starting up..

I've been involved with a number of crypto currencies and want to start mining but I'm unsure of where to start. I currently have a Sapphire HD 6770 GPU and a AMD 960T Black Edition 3.0GHz CPU, would there be any point in trying to use any of these to mine? or if not can someone point me in the right direction in terms of hardware so that I get a decent hash rate and would be worth the time spent mining? Thanks!

How do I find out the hash rate of my CPU and GPU?

Try to look in the mining forum, topics named "Hardware comparison" or "Hashing speeds"

Once you are set up in a pool, You can look at the workers screen and it will show you what each worker is hashing at along with it's difficulty.
