Getting transaction was rejected error...

I updated to the new wallet and now every so often i get the error message The transaction was rejected! This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here.
What do I do do i need to delete an old wallet??

coins are ether spend or not
there is nothing in between as it will be broadcasted on blockchain

What Wallet, What system are you running

well you are not synced !
you should definitely wait until that is finished otherwise your wallet is not up to date
and does not know/understand/ is back in time
what coins are spend or not

I think i fixed the problem I unchecked the send as zero fee if possible and changed to recommended and so far the error hasnt come up
