Feature request, new thread notifications.

Would something like that be possible, something like receiving an email notification when a new thread is posted or an RSS feed of all activity that could be filtered on the reader side? I'm looking for a way to get a notification any time a new thread is posted in the "Official Development News and Information" section.

Browser notifications is a thing now too. I have no idea how they work at this time, but seems like those could be very helpful.

Does that watch a category, or just the thread? He wants to be able to watch entire categories to receive notifications of new threads.

Ne'ermind, I looked at the categories, "Watch" button there too.

Sorry, I hadn't spotted that. That will work, was hoping it could be done for the whole section but setting up email notifications for each sub-section will work fine Thanks.
