How should I handle this kind of situation?

I set up an Evonode on December 4th. When I checked it yesterday, I found that it had unexpectedly shut down. Could you let me know what might generally cause this? I don’t know how to fix it and can only reformat the server and rebuild it. This is when I encountered the issue mentioned above.

Additionally, I noticed that the rewards for Evonodes are the same as regular nodes, which is 0.89. Could you tell me how often the exclusive rewards for Evonodes are distributed?

Have you updated your Evonode on a regular basis ? Latest Platform update is v1.7.1
Any Evonode not running v1.7.1 will stall as of today (v1.7.1 just activated today).

Pay attention to the following too :

You can check your current Platform version with command dashmate status or on below mnowatch link

Also if you have ipv6 enabled, you can get false port reporting. Best to disable ipv6 and let everything go through ipv4.
See : https://docs.dash.org/en/stable/docs/user/masternodes/server-config.html#disable-ipv6

Make sure you subscribe to the official announcements thread (https://www.dash.org/forum/index.php?forums/official-announcements.54/),
so you can get the latest Platform and Core updates for your Evonode.

Make sure you check your Evonode from time to time here : https://mnowatch.org/evonodes/ (All Evonodes section), it will show you any port issues with your Evonode and will also show how many proposed blocks you are building up per epoch (9.1 days). This will reset each epoch on mnowatch. Today we entered epoch 13. It will also show your Evonode Platform balance.

This is a randomly selected example of what your Evonode should look like :

Also a handy link : https://platform-explorer.com/validators (lookup your Evonode and bookmark it).

An Evonde receive both Platform Credits (L2 rewards) at the end of each epoch (9.125 days) and Masternode Rewards (L1) every 4.4 days (0.89 dash). Platform Credits can be converted to dash through Dash Evo Tool --> https://github.com/dashpay/dash-evo-tool (read the readme and the link to documentation in that readme !!).

If you keep seeing that Platform error and the Tenderdash Service Status error on your Evonode even after having updated to v1.7.1 and disabling ipv6 and giving it a few minutes / hour to process the changes, then send an email to Dash Support : [email protected]

Thank you for your holiday reply. Yes, I’m using version 1.7.1. It seems that there was an issue with my port, as it wouldn’t respond no matter what I tried (see images 1–2). In the end, I had no choice but to reinstall it. I’ve just finished syncing everything, and for now, everything seems to be working perfectly (see image 3). Once again, thank you so much for your help—I didn’t even know such websites existed. Sending you holiday wishes again! :)

@Edward.Ali

You seem to be missing a few ports in your ufw status that you showed as attachment 2.png : port 443 (HTTP) and port 80 (Dashmate Zero SSL cert auto renewel) should also be allowed !!

Source : https://docs.dash.org/en/stable/docs/user/masternodes/server-config.html

Make sure nothing conflict with port 80 (Apache, Nginx are known to also operate on port 80 and should be disabled).
This is assuming you use Zero SSL cert for your Evonode through Dashmate.

And make sure to disable ipv6 on your server to avoid port communication problems with your P2P port 26656
