I could say, "but you don't have to be ..." but that's wrong. I think everyone is an artist. In the voting guidelines I urge everyone who votes, to look at originality and ideas, and less at aesthetics. Also, artwork does make it sound a little serious. Quality often associated with memes, is welcome as well. There is no bar, anyone can join. I've also made a resource page where people can find inspiration or upload ideas as well: https://dashcontests.com/dwresources I intend to expand this gallery in the coming weeks. If you have an idea but don't know how to visualize it, feel free to upload the picture(s) that could be used for your idea.

I love these community-building initiatives! They take awhile to get off the ground, but if you do it right, it's great for morale. Keep up the good work.
