Project Summary:
We will take advantage of the school inscriptions season in Venezuela to make contact with more than 3000 people in Los Teques, Venezuela. The idea is educate them about Dash as a digital currency which can be used as a payment means. The school inscriptions in VE for preschool, school and high school, occurs once a year, and by it´s nature is a massive process, making it a big opportunity to make Dash known in the city and it´s surroundings. The inscription process runs from August 30th to Octiber 30th.
Project Description:
We have made arrangements with Foto Digital West (IG: fotodigitalwest, FB: https://www.facebook.com/fotodigitalwest) to make this proposal possible. Digital West is a business dedicated to photofinishing, digital design, digital prints and digital marketing. They have been established in Los Teques since 2003, having 15 years of experience, and a proven track record. Digital West is well known in the city having a sizeable customer base, also they are pioneers in the usage and promotion of cryptocurrency in Venezuela. One of the services they offer is the printing of Photo Id, which is in turn one of the key documents required for the school inscription process.
Our proposal consists in the launching of a marketing campaign through social media and FM radio, offering a 50% discount over the final price of the photo ID to all those people interested in knowing about what is Dash and how to use it. We will create a new wallet for each customer, transfer an amount equivalent to the 100% of the final price of the photo ID and then instruct the customer to use 100% of that amount to pay for the photo id service.
Right now, the price of a photo id equals 0.003 dash. The customer will pay by point of sale the equivalent to 0.0015 dash in local currency, and with the funds provided by this proposal, we will give another 0.0015 dash to the customer. In total, the customer will receive 0.003 dash. To each customer we will create a new wallet, the wallet can be a paper wallet or a digital wallet, depending on the customer preference, and then he/she will use the funds stored inside the wallet to pay for the photo id service. By using this method we expect to create at least 3000 new wallets and produce at least 6000 transactions. Also we will build a stand fully branded with the Dash Logo located at the same shopping center where Digital West is located. This stand will be used to create customer´s wallets, recharge them and provide instructions about how to use the their wallets to pay for the photo id service.
Objectives:
Teaching 3000 people about Dash and make them use it.
Help 3000 students to get their photo id with a 50% discount.
Deliverables:
*We will produce a report tracking the amount of wallets actually created and the number of transactions generated.
*A video showing the entire process, starting from the wallet creation, passing through the photo id printing and ending with the payment process.
*A sound clip of the Radio AD (in Spanish) and links to the social media campaign.
