I agree with you that "Venezuela is the perfect candidate for the adoption of cryptocurrencies", that is why we promote the initiative of Dash Guayana Venezuela to build a Dash community in our city.

I think getfreedash.com it's a good idea to collect many users for Dash in Venezuela through those incentives. Do you have some statistics of where those downloads come from? hi everyone,

wanted to inform you that, we found some fraudulent activity on Getfreedash, fortunately, the effect is not very serious. But the way they have carried out this fraud is very smart. we do the giveaway for only new numbers, once you claim free dash , the system doesn't let you sign up again , however people were inserting dots in between so the same number could be used multiple times so a number like 1234.5 is being considered as a new number compared to 12345 .. we have stopped this now , we have paid to about 500 people this way ( so the net loss is $500 ) and we have stopped some 1500 people from the withdrawal queue potentially saving $1500 .... so thats about say 3% of the total people we signed up so far.

we are obviously ramping up our fraud-fighting systems, and planning on implementing full facial recognition going forward.

we are hoping to launch Android app as well, which would control fraud to a much greater extent ( by looking at IMEI / Android ID ) and give us the added benefit of targeting mobile friendly users

I was contacted today from one of our dash.red users that for the past 4 days he cannot create a new acccount on getfreedash.com. He gets the message "site under heavy load, please check back tomorrow". I don't have any way to confirm this as being true, but I thought @Dashmaximalist should know about it.

Makes sense. I understand and support this move. I suggest that you consider lowering the amount given for referrals as a follow up to reduce abuse of the getfreedash system and to extend the promotion longer. Best wishes to you!

its a fucking shit this first q1 in the cryptocurrency world, everythings is down but i think like a Venezuelan that getfreedash could be still working if dashmaximalist starts to pay 0.3$ per sign up , recently venezuela inflation jumped to 330.000bsf per 1 dolar, it is almost 40% inflation if u compare to february-march. People are gonna see the same amount in bolivares.

It is easy for someone to give away food or bolivares or anything to any other person who shows up with a smart phone and signs up on getfreedash.com. Does the person with the smartphone, required to verify the new account, end up using Dash, learning about it, etc?
The video shows clearly that people are willing to admit that they are in the business of signing up others on getfreedash.com. I wouldn't call it fraud, but I don't think this is what the promotion was supposed to do because the people signing up just get a sandwich.

In the past seven days, I have received two complaints from Venezuelans that getfreedash.com is not paying. I get these complaints because I run the website dash.red, which is also popular in Venezuela. I don't know what to do about it. This is not the place to do customer service for getfreedash.com.
