DASH HUB AFRICA EXPANDING REAL TIME USE CASES OF DASH ON REMITTANCES, MOBILE MONEY OPERATORS, MERCHANTS, HIGH CHARGE BACK INDUSTRY (TRAVELLING ND TOURISM), TRADERS AND EXCHANGES.

Project Summary:

This is an outline for a plan to generate greater return on investment and contribute to the growth of Dash network. We plan to achieve Autonomy by securing Self-sufficiency and continue on boarding Merchants, Business Outlets, Mobile Money Operators and High Charge back Industry and New Users in Ghana, Africa. We want to minimize the amount of asking and extend operations to maximum in order to improve Dash use case and Merchants in Africa.

This proposal intends to expand Dash Real-time use case on Remittances, High Charge back Industry (Travelling, Reservations and Hotels), Mobile Money Operators, Merchants and Exchanges with a self-sustenance plan in Ghana, West Africa.

The previous funding of Dash Hub Africa had successfully expanded our operation creating Ambassadors in 8 Africa countries (Ghana, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda) with notable achievements which include:

• About 90% of Merchants listed on Dash Merchants Directory from Africa (www.discoverdash.com) was added by our team.
• eBitpoint Exchange and P2P Market www.ebitpoint.com for easy liquidity of Dash in Ghana.
• Betty Place Restaurant https://discoverdash.com/listing/bettys-place-restaurant/ is one of our merchant accepting DASH in Kenya and now making headline on BBC World News
• https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-45889707- Helping to showcase real-time use case of Dash in Africa.
• Achieved first ever Dash payment Video from Africa.
• Established and currently trained 56 Ambassadors operating in 8 Africa countries contributing their quota to educate and increase Dash usability and transactions every day.

In Addition of that we also:

• Successfully created partnership with Omega Links International, In the Bear market has educated over 1,000 participants on 24th November 2018 at Central University College. (www.central.edu.gh)
• Achieve 1,500 Wallet downloads with estimated of 600 active users of Dash in Africa monthly.
• Ghana follows USA and Germany Top up on Bitrefill paying with Dash and Highest Unique Numbers ahead of Venezuela and Columbia. (Report requested from Bitrefill)
• With our proposal unfunded due to market price, Dash Hub Africa still contribute over 80% progress of Dash in Africa-Expansion, Integration, Business Development and Rampant growth of Dash in Africa.
• We continue to onboard Merchants, educate new users, integrate exchanges and Mobile money operators for more real time use case and increased transaction traffic from Africa.

Executive Summary

Dash Hub Africa is committed to continue our track record of expanding Dash in Africa by continuing educating, training and onboarding Merchants and Users into Dash ecosystem. Our KPIs include onboarding 5,000 Newbies and Wallets, 400 Merchants and Business Outlet, 10 Sales Agent, 5 Online Exchanges and 20 Over the Counter Exchanges with Merchants 24 hours support and value creations achievable in 6 Months.

However, we want to create successful stories for Dash in Africa. Learning and sighting current achievements of Dash Venezuela by Eugenialcala, Dash Merchants by AlejandroE and LorenzoReyC and also Dash Columbia by George Donnelly. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

1. Increase Dash awareness and rampant adoption by businesses.

2. Expand the usage level of Dash in Ghana.

3. Mainstream media would help publish and propagate the funfair creating an environment for new wallets creation and newbies acceptance.

4. Impact on the lives of the Ghanaian populace and teaching them about the newest revolution of money (Dash Digital Cash).

5. Create an enabling ecosystem for newbies and support needed about the Technology.


Why Ghana: Kumasi, Koforidua and Accra

We want to focus our efforts firstly in 3 regional capital in Ghana, Has these regions demonstrate the highest mobile money usage, Investment zone of the country with the Roadmap of expansion into other region in Ghana.

We will document our activities, budget and achievements to Dash Watch, post it on Dash Communication channels- Forum, Discord and Reddit. We also intend to create weekly updates posted on Dash Hub Africa Twitter .

We are requesting 59 Dash @ current value of $83 (04-Dec-2018 05:12GMT) for 6 Months. In case where price increase, we pledge to expand our targets and achieve more for the growth of Dash Network.

However, taking into consideration the price of Dash, it might be wise to lower the ask to lets say 40 Dash and ask for more support from MNOs once the price recovers. Otherwise, you are creating more risk for other proposals that will be posted during the cycle (core will take 60% of the budget alone). If you are not able to do it, go with your initial plan, 59 is still on the line of being reasonable. What I think is mandatory is setting your budget for three months, 6 months is way too long as new regulations are coming into market in 2019, institutional money holders are entering the field as investors so we could see the price of Dash go to 1-2K easily in March.
