Crpsty Warning - 5500 dash gone

I put this in general discussions so everyone could see it but feel free to move the thread.

Last week I moved 5500 dash to Cryptsy to change them to BTC when the BTC price started to rise. Shame on me for not doing research first as there were signs Crypsty was in trouble dating back a couple of weeks. It sucks that they even let me make the deposit.

To make a long story short, I sold the coins for BTC, went to make a withdrawal and they aren't sending the money. So after years of carefully accumulating DRK/Dash, setting up master nodes, dreaming of grandeur, I got greedy and wanted to cash in on the BTC bump, only to get wiped out by another incompetent exchange.
 
Have you filled out their paperwork? They have been very slow to pay out, especially in BTC. Maybe if you go back to Dash, you'll be able to withdraw the Dash? Others have reported (unfortunately at least a week or two ago) that they could withdraw their Dash but not BTC.

So make sure you've filled out their "Know your customer" information and if that doesn't work, change to another coin, maybe research to see which coins are being paid out?? Good luck! I'm really sorry about that :(
 
I had trouble with a btc withdrawal last week. After several days of no progress I contacted support, canceled it, and bought dash and withdrew it. Using poloniex now.
 
simply DO NOT use cryptsy as they are not the way to go....

Poloniex so far gained a lot of volume and is top exchange now.

I would try as suggested by italix to change some to Dash and withdraw
if that goes through you know what to do

if it works please post here as I know of others with 'big' numbers of BTC stuck

i posted all crypts news right away
+ emailed big holders /whales direct
(was a bit worried i 'triggered' some panic there, but safety 1st)

I do another round of posts in social media later
let me think how to best approach this (without spreading new/more panic)

if the withdraws in Dash work , that would be a good angle to use, but i do not know if they do ?
 
Had issues this week withdrawing BTC from Cryptsy. Contacted their support who informed they were aware of the problem and tech support was working on it. After 3 days finally received my coin. Unfortunately they have lost my trust.

AnatolKir hope you get your DASH back.
 
i have a pending withdraw of 69 Dash for over 45 days now on cryptsy.ca
they keep on telling me they are waiting for a specialist to look at the issue

i think the general Cryptsy mess started because (whatever reason) that canada page, there is something going on :what:
 
I think they probably had the same issue happened to them as happened to Gox with TX malleability. If you remember they even said so in an announcement a few weeks ago. They likely lost a good number of coins and are using new deposits to pay off old withdrawals.

1 whole server crashed at Cryptsy, brought the whole exchange to a hault.....they are saying all wallets are down while a new server is built. Do they not keep spare servers running as backup....!?
 
im fed-up , they are full of shit , im withdrawing my last coinsa as soon wallets come back on
i guess Poloniex will have me as new client.
i have Dash in .CA stocked on a pendind withdraw since July
