It might make Dash skyrocket or it might make Dash crash with it. It's kind of a cointoss. It all depends when it happens because if BTC keeps dropping in market cap, and the market cap reaches say, 8 billion then a split won't hurt much.

I think that there is definitely a possibility of DASH skyrocketing because of people moving their investments to alt-coins. The market is fairly volatile though, so anything could happen. This includes DASH crashing along with Bitcoin.

looks like Dash needs to streamline its code removing those "sins" or new coins proprely adjusted like Veltor might start taking over...
