I'm having trouble downloading the "Stealing Bitcoin with Math" video here:

I am having trouble downloading this video, I have a quick 5 bucks to anyone who can upload this video to either dropbox of gdrive and provide a download link (edited). It's more 1Gb for 720p version...
You can use youtube-dl tool to download it, just run:

youtube-dl.exe http://livestream.com/internetsociety/hopeconf/videos/130745035

to download best quality video (link from "share" button),
or use -F option to list available formats:

Thanks for the tip. I already tried DL'ing it myself with savefrom.net (which I use often), but the specific video was not showing up. I may have mucked up somewhere. You made a very detailed post, unfortunately, I am on Linux so I can't DL the app you suggest (I don't use Wine).

There is linux version too, but requires installed python. Unfortunately, my sandbox computer died recently, so I don't have linux to check steps, but should be:

sudo wget https://yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl -O /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
youtube-dl http://livestream.com/internetsociety/hopeconf/videos/130745035
