Completely agree. The day that taxi driver's wife goes to www.SeeHowJimmyIsSpendingHisBitcoin.com and realizes that he buys more porn than all their kids combined, we're in the game!actually the more and more people that adopt bitcoin, the easier it will be to show the weakness of bitcoin, and the easier it is going to be to show them the dark side
Now, seriously, I don't believe there is room just for one. Every hour spent by people in understanding Bitcoin is an hour less they will have to spend to understand Darkcoin. Bitcoin is great but it won't cover every need, as Darkcoin won't either. And they also have problems. Andreas Antonopoulos leaving the Foundation is terrible news.
There have been a bunch of really influential people like Andreas that have recently left the Bitcoin Foundation that are high-quality, well regarded, and well-connected. I don't think we are there yet, but we should consider at some point approaching some of these disgruntled members and see if they would like to help Darkcoin move forward. It's a long shot, but you never know... we might be able to pull off a mini-coup from a couple of these guys that through a combination of their desire to stick it to Bitcoin, believing in what we are doing, and the opportunity to take a leading role, would take a chance on a start-up like us.

I have been following Andreas Antonopoulos since the moment I joined the cryptocurrency world. I'm quite a big fan of him and eat up every word coming out of his visionary mind. I have watched all his presentations. This is a person of higher intelligence with massive knowledge on any facet of cryptocurrency and beyond, but he is also a true leader (teacher). I've learned so much from Andreas. If he would only mention Darkcoin in one of his interviews or presentations, this would be a gift to all of us. If anyone knows this person, or knows someone who could get in contact with him, please do, provided the Darkcoin team thinks it's not too soon to reach out to him.
To be honest, I cannot imagine Andreas not being aware of 'Darkcoin' already. He has spoken about other entirely trivial altcoins and although he initially was sceptic about altcoins, he surely changed his mind on that. Don't get me wrong, he's still long on Bitcoin and wants Bitcoin to succeed very much so, but imho his philosophy does not (entirely) match anymore with the direction Bitcoin is taking in certain regards. He is a very strong supporter of anonimity improvements for cryptocurrency and has mentioned the lack of anonimity as one of the biggest problems with Bitcoin.
An objective, but positive statement by Andreas on 'Darkcoin' would surely go viral in the crypto world. Even if he would see major issues with Darkcoin, his constructive criticism would also help us a lot.
