i think it would be great to write a story on the "MN Attack" from 2 days ago !

i do not understand enough of the technical part involved but (pro active as we are) this would make a good write up ?!

anybody interested ?
 
I'm not sure if it's directly related to this attack or separate issues of someone trying to run DDOS attack on my network but I have a ton of abnormal TCP flag attacks in my firewall that occurred during this time window and have since stopped. I would like to know more details as well so we can identify this sort of thing early on. Someone else said, this quick patch just makes the Master Node network stronger. Thanks Evan and other who helped. I will patch my testnet Masternodes with the newest update for testing the next big thing.

Are you running Masternodes on your server?
Yesterday Evan said someone had been dossing Darksend but I think it was fixed:
[15:37:39] <evan82> aaxx1503, someone's been DOSing darksend. I have a fix for how they're doing it in the next release

we got attacked , evan reacted fast , network is save , everybody happy !
this is interesting !

new update here , price over there , accepted on new exchange is good news too but a bit boring , with this people can start a discussion !

I heard you're sick, get well soon. :sad:
Then when you can, join Testnet, Evan needs help, even with just a small thing like running a wallet and test Darksend... It also helps to know what it's like because people will ask you a lot about it. :smile:

Yes, that's what he explained in the last dev update. MNs will stop broadcasting their IP address to avoid being DOS attacked. It should be ready for next release.

honestly i am way over my head already !!
i am spending too much time with you guys , plus real live job needs full attention (freelance, always gotta hustle that thing), plus my kiddo .... honestly i have my hands full these days and really have no extra time at all !
wish i could but can not !
