12.2 Translations

Same time ago I've created a small utility which is able to recycle translation from other coins on Transifex. It can save a lot of time as many resources are the same comparing bitcoin (eventually any other coin) and dash. It helped me a lot to"translate" many strings for Slovak language. Anyone interested to try it out?
 
Hi xsedivy, how does your utility work? Transifex offers a feature to merge translation memories from different projects but not (as far as I know) from different organisations. This could be quite useful!
 
it is quite simple. You just download already translated strings from Bitcoin project - it is possible to do so if you are member of their team as well. Then you download strings for translation from Dash project an use the tool. Then you just upload the modified file back to Transifex. As I'm member of Bitcoin team I can actually download all languages from there. I can share borh, the tool and files from bitcoin to you, just let me know how:) Or you can just send me your language file and I can send you updated file back for you to upload...
 
@UdjinM6 actually if you give me write access to all languages (currently I can only translate Slovak) I can recycle translation for all Dash languages...

I hope you do not over write our already translated strings, thought i have backups for safety.
 
@UdjinM6 Can you always take latest translation from Transifex before newer core wallet release? I've finalized translation way before 12.2.2. for Slovak, but it was not reflected in the wallet. If possible of course:) Thx

I have accepted your request to translate Dash Core into Indonesian on Transifex. This translation is already ~40% complete (including translations imported from Bitcoin Core), so please read through the existing translations to get a feel for the terminology and then continue translating here: https://www.transifex.com/dash/dash/translate/#id/dash_ents

In general, if you use the "History", "Suggestions" and "Concordance" functions, you will be able to create a translation consistent with past work in Indonesian. There is also some information on how to handle the various placeholders in the text here: https://docs.dash.org/en/latest/developers/translating.html#dash-core

Got it. I will take it slow and start translating few at a time :)

I will probably put more translation during my spare time over the weekend ;) Let me know if I made grave mistake. I'm also on Discord (same ID)
