iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

Your best bet is to restore the image to a new SD card. For now you do not want to mess with the local Linux install in the miner. They have done some very inappropriate things to cgminer so we need the source first.

iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

Yes, and I appreciate you helping me previously and understand that there are many tasks to take care of. However as I keep stating this is just a few minutes of work. It should have been done when the miners shipped. It helps provide a better user experience as we can work with cgminer as...

Great to hear from you soleo. I do have one question, what do you mean by melting?

    Bandwidth??

What otaci said, do not count Loopback. That is just a fake network adapter used internally by the computer. Also your network usage will go up as you continue to gain reliable connections to other peers. I have seen bandwidth usage climb for 3 weeks or so until it finally stabilizes which by...

    Bandwidth??

It looks like I have around 50GB a month as well across my masternodes, both in and out. Really that is not much, you are only talking about 0.02 MB/s. A Pi and home internet connection can handle that in most areas of the US. Though I still look forward to this requirement being a lot higher...

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

True, however the dash price has not changed. So if you have dash and are mining dash nothing is different. Of course if you are like a couple of my friends who were going to buy dash to get one of these then you are squirming as you see the price rise. I give them credit for accepting Dash...

Thanks for the update on that, we anxiously await this release. Also thanks for getting an image out there, that will help many people. In regards to posting the code I can appreciate that your company is working through many requests however this should be a high priority. It less than 5...

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

Yeah, it would be nice to hear an update. When I met with him this past Sunday he had indicated they may start taking preorders next week with shipments beginning at the end of March. I got 500 Dash sitting by, just need to see a working blade.

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

That is a good question for them. While they had no longer planned on releasing the USB version of the miner Soleo did ask me if there would be interest in them selling it. I am not interested in purchasing a USB version but maybe others would be? I just like to play with technology...

iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

I think there may be some confusion on this point. You already have an open source miner but just have not released the source yet. Your company modified cgminer, https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer, which is under the GPL license, https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/COPYING...

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

The peak we saw averaged around 8.5 MH/s and ran it there for a long time. I did not ask about die size so he will have to answer that but the first post on this thread shows the package as QFN64, around 8mm x 8mm. I think he mentioned it being a 130nm process. While smaller processes exist...

iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

Thanks, having that will help people if they have problems. Make sure to get the cgminer source posted somewhere separately as the TF image only has the binary. It is great that you chose an open source solution for this, this helps the community overall as well as simplifies things for your...

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

This past Sunday a friend and I had an opportunity to visit Soleo and see an example of their ASIC chip in action. I appreciate his willingness to let us see these in person and it was fun to chat with other people interested in cryptocurrency. As they are currently still manufacturing the...

iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

Ahmed, I responded to your PM's. Despite the same symptom our problems are not the same. I plugged directly in the Pi using an monitor and keyboard but unless you have Linux knowledge I would not recommend doing that. iBeLink_1, where is the source for cgminer? After my problem I tried to...

Thanks, I emailed them. Not fixed yet but I will give you credit, they are responding quickly to my emails so that is great to see. It is always nice when a company has a support team that is responsive. Edit: I am fixed now. From my chat with them hopefully they will be posting an image of...

iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner Support Thread

I am running into the same problem as Ahmed Nattiel. I updated my miner, it worked breifly after the update. But I save my configuration and then rebooted it to make sure the config came up as expected after a reboot. Now on the web page I just get the error " Connection to 127.0.0.1:4029...

Thanks for the update, we appreciate you checking it out. I would like to visit them as well but this past weekend did not work for me. Soleo, do you have any estimates of performance/watt on your underclocking? Do you have a github repository for the software that we could check out?

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

This looks like a very interesting development. I live in Illinois, a bit south of Chicago and would be interested in seeing a demo and posting the results to the community. In regards to what has been posted so far I do have a couple of questions. The mining software, is that something...

    Budget Proposal - Vendor-Experience UPDATED

Certainly, at some point I need to get more involved in a useful manner anyways. However I am merely an amatuer hobbyist who does some electronics and programming. And also to add since I have been vague in areas I have voted yes for this proposal with my masternodes. Everyone did a great job...
