DASH WORLD update #1: A New Website

These are some great ideas from GreyGhost. AndyDark let's incorporate as much from GreyGhost as we can. This is really critical with Dash as there are other similar websites like the detergent that force a search with other key words to get to us. Maybe add dash.org/dash-wallet so we can...

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

It is what it is. All I can say is the pool reports 500MH and cgminer reports 500MH now with everything working right. Chips have a huge heatsink over them that I don't want to remove and risk damage. I guess you could buy one and take it apart.

    PinIdea ASIC X11 Miner DR-1 Hashrate 500MH/s @320w Weighs 4.5kg

Just a quick post today. So what happened? Miner arrived, but 4 screws were missing on one side. Running the miner I could only get 100MH from a pool although CGminer was reading 500MH. With the help of Soleo and Stella(on dash slack) we found it was a hardware issue. I opened up the miner...

    Darksend Rebranding Discussion

Agree. There needs to be a way to explain the different functions. InstantX has a fee and is faster - you can't just say I sent it the fast way...It makes no sense. We need positive connotation names like InstantSend and PrivateSend until they are not separate functions anymore. The InstanTX...

Dash World: Marketing Audit, Progress & Road-map

David, these guys are really moving. If you could see the conversation happening in private messages and on slack, it is incredible. As for gauging how effective this will all be, GreyGhost is getting data from the Dash websites and will have traffic metrics and other sources for actual proof...

    Project Management Framework - proposition

Kot, I appreciate all the effort you are putting into trying to make this easier for masternodes. But I have been through so many situations with new development projects where you just can't push every project into a checkbox sheet. It is just too difficult to gauge every possible activity...

    New website discussion

I just noticed this. From my business experience selling to all customers, a mobile site is a HUGE requirement for search engines. Dash is going to mainly be used with mobile devices. It is very important to have a mobile site as fast and friendly as possible. As for splitting layouts from...

    Project Management Framework - proposition

We have a protocol...the masternodes vote yes or no. If you have questions on what the community will agree on start a discussion or do an option poll before the vote. This is a funding system not some complicated decision matrix via a Scantron bubble test. If you want to make reports of...

    Project Management Framework - proposition

You can't stop people from disagreeing with each other. Some proposals will not be unanimous. That is part of life. The only metric that matters is how many people vote yes. This is so simple. If a suggestion is made, the proposal owner can listen and resubmit a proposal. Why complicate...

    Project Management Framework - proposition

This isn't about anarchy or creating divisions in the community. Those statements are not related to my comments or this discussion. If you had a company making a widget that needs to be the same every time, ISO and QS standards are important along with detailed reports. Then you have metrics...

    Project Management Framework - proposition

Kot, I know you are trying to make the Dash budget process into an ISO standardized document based on the QMS that is repeatable, measurable and constantly improving, but I don't see this being beneficial. Just allow the masternode owners to see and understand proposals directly without a...

    First Quarter 2016 Expense Report

The minera guide a few pages back will work if you disable adblocker in your browser. But I got too frustrated with it before I figured that out and started over. The bitcointalk forum also suggested to disable some of the status updates that use cryptsy...read the last few pages of posts if...

    First Quarter 2016 Expense Report

We should be trying to save money on each expense. Tungfa's fight at $1371....was this really the best price available! Use hotwire.com, kayak.com, travelocity.com....can we at least try to use the discount booking sites. Just a quick search found a similar flight at about half that cost...

I'll be reviewing the miner and will post pictures stats and anything you want. I am getting the PI setup so this will work. So far the minera software has ads that pop up every hour unless you donate $4. Now they are locking up the console - so I may ditch minera. Some other users have...

soleo As for the usb mining software, Are you using cgminer or bfgminer? A package that you can install on the raspberry pi that allows web based access is called minera. If we can use cgminer or bfgminer, it would make setting up easier for most people...

Where is the new website? It's Q2

First of all, I see no reason to spend time on these reports. The green/Amber/Red status stuff is ridiculous. Reports like this may be great for someone in upper management to review quickly, but we are all at the same level. (I have had my share of TPM, TPS, etc reports working at big...
