Quick tech question on Liquidity Providers. Does DS get a boost having a set of wallets constantly ping-pong'ing tx back and forth, or is liquidityprovider=n enough?

Ah, is this new? I'm pretty sure start-many, when it first came out, payed to the first address in the mnastenode.conf... not sure. I'll be trying start-many today for the first time :grin:

hmmm ... I don't think so. That would be total chaos and be of disservice to the argument. The idea of start-many is to simplify things, not to make it worse. With typical start-many, 1k addresses (each with it's own vin) are created, which makes it easier I guess, but since it's the first...

With start-many, all payments got to the first address, so how do you monitor payments with that? (yup, I've never used start-many....)

Thats the whole point of the 1k collateral. Each vin is "locked" to one MN. bertlebbert how did you do it? I'll try to replicate .

Not at all... keep it coming! The way I see it is... for this to be truly effective, in terms of really boosting mainnet performance, we need dedicated servers like MN's. Fees will put people off from becoming LP's. We have 2 problems here. a) Server for LP = hot nodes. b) user QT's at home...

Granted this is my first liquidity provider test, but it seems stuck at 13% since update. liquidityprovider=50, 5k

qwizzie - that is exactly why I started testing liquidity provider on testnet on friday. I was definitely going to make this into a proposal the budget system. How though, is a different story. And Evan is tinkering with ideas, so it will happen somehow
