    DashPay Point-Of-Sale (Project Updates)

I'm not sure I follow - how does it get the prices? It uses the rates from coinmarketcap :)

    DashPay Point-Of-Sale (Project Updates)

Back with another round of updates :) Okay, a lot has happened! Our beta testing has gone very well. We found a few bugs, made a few UI changes and got some very good feedback. We had over 50 beta testers (some being real merchants). So here is where things stand: The POS software (client...

I will write a comprehensive update later today and will include a section on that

    DashPay Point-of-Sale

Hey, release date is dependant on wallet situation. We did not realize the state of HD wallets when beginning this project. The POS itself can pretty much be released at any time - just waiting on the wallet stuff. In the mean time, we've been adding features (language translation, multi...

Existing Point of Sale Dash Integration

-Yes, the terminal has a built in printer -the dash are stored in a dash wallet of the users choice. The terminal only generates addresses for each sale -the existing idea is that if the merchant decided they wanted to receive USD, the dash is instantly sold upon sale and total amount is...

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

Again, this is exactly what we do and is a stated goal of ours. Allowing merchants to accept AND CONVERT Dash is the purpose of our project. Again, the point of my post was to help you understand that you need to explain what your doing differently, not just say you're doing something...

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

One of our ultimate goals is to allow instant fiat conversion for merchants, so it's a bit duplicative - in any case, the point of my posting has gotten off topic. It was moreso to let him know that he needed to clarify to mno what he is doing differently if he wants to succeed. I'm proposing...

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

Our system is open source so... If it does what you want, but not in your currency, why not add it? If you have a fiat settlement partnership for your currency, make a fork of our project and save the network some time and money. All I'm saying is that your proposal does not seem well thought...

Pre-proposal: business integration into retail sector

If it is a lot different, then I sincerely apologize. My goal here is not to stop you or your proposal, but only to let you know it is your duty to make it clear to the masternode owners how you are adding value to the network and what you are doing differently. Not using an external terminal...

Pre-proposal: business integration into retail sector

This is exactly what we do. We integrate with existing Point-of-Sale solutions as an external terminal. The external terminal is a dash-branded hardware terminal....it seems like you haven't thoroughly researched your options.

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

I know I'm totally thread-jacking, and I apologize for that but this info is relevant.. The system that I linked to above is usable with currently used POS devices. For an example of this, please read this post...

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

For the OP: http://github.com/kodaxx/dashpayPOS See what I mean? It's already being done

ATTENTION: Pre-proposal- business integration into retail sector

I pretty much agree with camosoul, just based on the fact that my proposal has already been funded (for much less than this) and does exactly what you plan to do. That being said, I'm all for competition and other solutions. Of course, I am partial to how we've solved this problem. Though, it...

    Is Dash getting chumped?

Agreed. I think there is a forum dedicated to that - at least that's where I've been posting my project updates https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/dashpay-point-of-sale-project-updates.13108/

    DashPay Point-Of-Sale (Project Updates)

Currently DashPay POS integrates with existing systems - for example, I use Square Register (which integrates with QuickBooks). When I accept a DASH payment, I will process the payment on my DashPay terminal. Then I will enter the sale amount into the "Other Payment Method" option in Square...

    DashPay Point-Of-Sale (Project Updates)

Wow! Just a few days away from initial release. We will welcome a select few to test the POS out before a full public release. Please message me on Dash Nation slack channel @kodaxx and let me know why you think you would be a good candidate ;) Client: Just doing some final cleanup and testing...
