From where does the Android wallet get the Exchange rates data?

Then the app will not update its app exchange rate against the last time it retrieved the info successfully from BitcoinAverage. There is a plan to make exchange rates more robust in future versions, even t the point of retrieving local prices in your country.

Wallet won't let me send coins

Yes, first you should make a backup. Then also upgrade to the latest version v5.17.4 (it's on Google Play). Then go to Safety / View Recovery Phrase and write down your backup phrase. Next, try sending, if that doesn't work (same problem) then: Please send a report to the support email by...

Lost of Funds on Dash Mobile Application

Send a report using "Report Issue". Sounds like a network issue, no connection means no balance after restoring from the recovery phrase.

    Retrieve private key

This was a strange error for sure. To reply to the question above, each time an address is requested in the app a new address will be created. If you want to see a list of existing addresses, then go to the Address Book and then use the Browse function on a particular address.

From where does the Android wallet get the Exchange rates data?

Exchange rate information comes from Poloniex (Dash in BTC, weighted average of past 200 trades) and BitcoinAverage.com (BTC in local currencies). If Poloniex is not reachable, then BitcoinAverage.com is used for DASH in BTC as well. With the crazy amount of volatility recently, there are...

Is there a reason why mobile fee is expensive?

The topic of this thread are fees for sending Dash on Mobile Devices, specifically android. Is the fee 0.0001 or 0.00001 DASH per kb? It is unrelated to which company or device is being used.

Dash Wallet for android has IPv6 support built in. No development is required regarding it for Hash Engineering Solutions. Masternode limitations are a separate matter.

Dash coin sound offensive to me.

The Korean translation was recently updated. v5.17.2 may have the correct names rather than Bitcoin. Screenshots would be helpful.

    Is Dash a coin?

"send digital cash" is too long, but "Send Dash" is shorter and will fit. There are inconsistencies amount translations that will need to be looked at as well.

Pre-proposal: Dash Wallet for Android - Maintenance and Support

This is do able and probably with very little changes to the code. I will try to figure it out for a future update this month. Also, this pre-proposal thread was for a proposal that was approved in April or May and the three months has expired. I am now a Dash Core Contractor.

Is there a reason why mobile fee is expensive?

Segwit is not needed to lower transaction fees. Fees can be lowered by changing only a few parameters in the code. IPv6 or not is unrelated to Mobile Wallet Development.

Is there a reason why mobile fee is expensive?

I am doing a staged rollout on 5.17.2 - so that is why you don't see it on Google Play. I have just increased it to 50% of installs. You can also download it here: https://github.com/HashEngineering/dash-wallet/releases/download/v5.17.2/dash-wallet-5.17.2.apk By reinstall, I hope you mean...

Is there a reason why mobile fee is expensive?

We need more information. Can you provide a txid? The most recent update 5.17.2 reduced fees in Dash by 90%. However, the price of DASH in local currencies has increased by 3 times. Are you using the older version 5.17.1 or previous? If one is receiving mining rewards to this wallet or...
