Masternode goes offline?

Hi my darkcoind kills itself for no reason after a week thus my masternode goes offline. I was just wondering is this happening to anyone else or is it just my VPS provider?

Could be memory management issue. Maybe try lowering max connections to the daemon. Yet to see a daemon shutdown for no reason though.
Are you using a small unknown provider?

I'm running with reprisehosting I have connections set at 256, if I go lower will there be any negative consequences?

Not that I'm aware. Possibly a slight delay with the IP to the network, but even then, I believe it waits 10 blocks for confirmation of MN creation.
