Will The Default Option for QT "Send Darksend Denominated Funds" Ever Change?

Basically I've seen numerous people come onto forums/social media and ask why they can not send their funds. More often then not it is because they have the 'send darkcoin denominated funds' ticked and not un-ticked. Considering that everyone's funds start out as non-darksend-denominated funds, why would'nt the default for sending be non-denominated funds?

First impressions make a big deal. Someone downloads the wallet, they get their dash in there, they go to send some DASH and they get an error message. In essence the first experience they have with DASH-QT is an error message.

So my question is this. Will the default option ever be changed?

(sorry if this has been discussed in the past)
(also sorry if there is a solution to this in the wallet already, I did not find it (I clicked everywhere))

Note: If your solution is to open a terminal and type in commands that is not good enough. If the solution is to create a .conf file or edit a .conf file, that is not good enough. We are talking about people who will never learn that stuff.

Good question, Bill. For those of us who got into this coin because of its anonymity-centric feature and know how the wallet works, we have no problem with using the wallet. But I guess for many newcomers it's a problem. I'm thinking maybe the devs can create more than one "Send" screen for each of the sending functions, like: Anonymous Send, Non-Anonymous Send, InstantX Send ?

1. Anonymous Send: Darksend checkbox is marked by default and no InstantX box there.
2. Non-Anonymous Send: No Darksend and InstantX checkboxes there.
3. InstantX Send: InstantX checkbox is marked by default and no Darksend box there.

Btw, this reminds me of Einstein who cut out two holes in each door in his house: a large one for the large cats, and a small one for the small cats. It made perfect sense. Everyone was happy!!!

It may be good to switch Darksend off by default to help new users get good first impression.
But let users set "Default Darksend ON" in configuration menu setup.

3 screens would be way over the top...coincidentally I already thought about this problem some moons ago and decided that getting rid of the "Darksend" checkbox and using 2 dedicated "Send" buttons would be the most convenient way to implement this.

Not yet ready for upload, have to complete other things first...

So cool! I forgot that InstantX can be either with DS or no DS.
Now we need only two holes instead of 3 for the cats! Thanks!

Then there should be two balance, normal and anonymous balance, right?

Just wanted to say sorry if my first post came off as an attack, I read it over and it seems I am a little aggressive there.

Anyways one of these two solutions above would be better than the current default option. Thank you for the responses.

Yes, when I read your first post, it didn't sound like you at all... sounded more like tungfa these days...
(jk :) )
No, Bill, it's a legitimate issue that iirc has been raised by someone else in the past but never got followed through.

AjM's post got me thinking.. In the past we had 3 balances: Anonymous (DS), Non-Anonymous, and No Preference. Then Evan got rid of one of the balances and now we've been having only two balances: DS Only, and Total Balance. To send a "Non-Anonymous" tx, unless you know how to tick the boxes in the Coin Control to send only "No DS funds", your transaction can be a combination of DS and non-DS funds, which can de-anonymize your transaction, unless you don't care about it.

Could you also create an option for us that we can choose "Only Non-Anonymous" transaction without having to go to the Coin Control. I think this also solves camosoul's question on his thread. Also, if the wallet could calculate the fees right there on the Send screen before we press the button "Send", it would be awesome.... Thanks! :)
