question about feature of masternode monitoring web site : Dash Ninja

Hey guys. I have been using Dash ninja to keep an eye on my mn. https://dashninja.pl/#mnlistdetail

I was wondering if anyone of you know how the " Proof-Of-Service Score" is worked out and what numbers mean.

My proof of service score has changed from 0 (Green) to 1 (yellow) what does this mean? thanks

i do not know the tech details behind this
the pro's (like Udjin and flare and others) will sure explain that later in details (and better than me)

in general (dummy explanation)
if you get to #3 and higher, at some point your MN might be kicked from network
but normally #1 pops up and goes back to #0 very quick
(it is kind of a warning system, shows that there might be something wrong)

MrZilch that means that you masternode failed when it should either respond to pinging or to sign IX at some point of a time. So if your MN will fail another time its score will be incremented again. If it will respond correctly score will be decremented. And finally MN will not be payed if its score is > 6.

Hi udjin
My vps was down for about 4 days
Because I needed to moved to another host and it took some time.
For some reason
When I broght up my new masternode(with new ip) but with the same wallet
I received my payment few hours later!
I'm not complaining or something:wink:
But I think it's a bug that may be exploited for bad behavior

If it was gone for 4 days and still got paid, then that might mean it simply didn't get asked to do an IX for 4 days.

I've had my nodes kicked at 6 when there's nothing wrong with them. Flood-ping them without a single dropped packet.

It seems to go both ways. You can NOT take a penalty when you should be getting penalized, and you can get penalized when there's nothing wrong.

Hasn't happened in a long time for me tho... At least 6 weeks since any such oddities.
