For anyone not wanting to read, I've made you a video that describes my new proposal:
PLEASE VOTE AS MY PROPOSAL IS NOW LIVE: https://www.dashcentral.org/p/dashfornewbies-medium-youtube-contests
Also, I just made Dash For Newbies Creative Commons, so that means the Dash community can freely translate and distribute my articles without seeking permission.
Here are the basic details:
Duration: 3 Months
Cost: 35 Dash Per Month
Specifics:
1. DASH FOR NEWBIES Medium publication: 25 articles per month
2. DASH FOR NEWBIES YouTube videos: 10 videos per month
3. 2 Contests per month: giving away 4 Dash per month to winners of contests, and advertising these.
4. Continued social media/community building efforts on: Twitter, Women of Dash Slack, Medium, YouTube, Steemit, Facebook, Linkedin.
Goal: double subscribers each month.
My new proposal is a continuation of the work I've been doing for Dash, with the addition of the 2 contests.
The contests for May will be: one Writing Contest and one Visual Art contest. Details about this can be found in the video. I want to partner with a killer marketing specialist so that these contests can reach a wider audience. If you know someone, send them my way.
These contests are focused in bringing in newbies to Dash, maybe even people who have never used Bitcoin before. Also, I developed a core mission statement for the Dash For Newbies concept, and this is based on these four things:
1. Attracting people who are new to digital currency.
2. Creating an inclusive atmosphere free from discrimination.
3. Encouraging creativity, openness, and fun.
4. Integration: helping newbies integrate into Dash Nation and also creating a more collaborative atmosphere within Dash Nation.
As you can see from the contests, I'll be giving away 4 Dash per month to the winners. My contests will be different from Dash Force contests because I'm going to focus more on art, writing and creating inclusive community-related projects.
Please let me know in the comments if you approve of my proposal. Thank you.
ps-some helpful stats so far on my work from the past month:
MEDIUM:
28 articles
49 new subscribers (updated April 22: 109 subscribers)
8,600 total views
YouTube:
55 new subscribers
total views: 7,214 (approx. 1300 are Dash For Newbies)
Women of Dash Slack:
50+ members
Most popular YouTube video: Introducing the Women of Dash. Here's the stats for this one video. From this video, I gained 8 subscribers. I guess people like crazy-style videos! Here's more info:
It's kind of ironic, eh? Anyway, it's clear that the wacky, fun videos work well on YouTube, so that's the direction I'm headed! These analytic tools are great in helping us figure out a direction to go. So, I'm GOING ALL OUT with the wacky style......since no one else seems to be doing that angle in cryptocurrency.
And, special thanks to the Dash DAO. Oh, and a marketing guru, named Jeremy Epstein gave my Dash DAO article a shoutout in his recent article, so check it out: https://www.neverstopmarketing.com/?p=9625&preview=1&_ppp=ccae55a9bd
Jeremy Epstein also contacted me for an interview. I'll give you an update when that happens.
Who knows, maybe Jeremy Epstein would be interested in Dash too?
