Benefits of this pre-proposal for Dash:
1. Achieve the widespread adoption of DASH in the city of Guayana, populated by 800,000 people.
2. Promote the use of Dash within the large industrial sector of iron, gold and aluminum in Venezuela.
3. Increase the circulation of currency between the commercial sector, the industrial sector and Venezuelan citizens, specifically in Ciudad Guayana.
4. Turn all conference attendees into active users and DASH promoters in their community.
5. To register a minimum of 50 businesses and entrepreneurs in Guayana City to accept DASH as payment method

PRE-PROPOSAL UPDATES:
1. After doing some searches in the sector, we have managed to reduce costs in different elements of the budget, such as the POP material and the place of the first conference, and we proceed to show the changes in the proposal.
In addition, we have made changes to make the understanding of the budget clearer.
2. In order to present greater transparency to the Community, we have drawn up the organizational chart of what Dash Guayana will be. You can find in our project how this chart will be.
3. Unfortunately, the Dash Guayana project was not approved. We are working to present reforms and improvements according to the different feedbacks we obtained in the proposal and we hope to present an improved project very soon.

Greetings to all the DASH community from the beautiful land of Guayana, Venezuela! We’re the DASH Guayana team and we’re going to present to you our pre proposal to start the DASH community in the Eastern region of Venezuela, so we can continue to expand the use and adoption of DASH thought the country. Who we are:
We’re a team of young people, but with a high experience of realization of events since we’re entrepreneurs and outstanding persons within the student area. This endorses that we have the experience to achieve the preparation of theses events with a high level of excellence.

Organizational Chart
The problem
In Venezuela, given the peculiar economical situation and above all thanks to the pushing spirit of its citizens, it has been realized important efforts from successful initiatives to promote the adoption and popularization of DASH, like DASH Caracas, achieving the DASH conferences with more gauging worldwide and replicating its work methodology in La Guaira, Los Teques and more recently Maracay, Aragua state. Nonetheless, we observe a big potential in the country’s Eastern region population, specifically Guayana City, that it’s not being taking cared of.
This city has a population of more than 800.000 people and represents an important center of exportation and commercialization of minerals like iron, aluminium, gold and diamonds, which implies an important industrial and commercial movement that is currently frustrated given the deficiency in the payment methods: lack of cash, poor connection in the points of sale, constant lost of purchasing power of the oficial currency: the bolívar. These factors generate long lines, tedious processes of shopping and nonconformity.
Being so, Venezuela is an opportunities germinator to implement opportune and effective payment methods like DASH, and also serve to the citizens as value refuge and an alternative access system to the international exchange market.
The solution
After getting in touch with the DASH Caracas group, under the leadership of Eugenia Alcalá , and other important initiatives in the country like DASH Help Venezuela, being in charge Alejandro Echeverria, and seeing his important work, we considered necessary to make informative conferences, meetups and incentives that allow us to extend this information and the benefits of DASH to our region, so we can impulse the massive adoption of this currency towards a sector of the country avid of knowledge and solutions and building an active, participative and empowered DASH community in Guayana.

“Dash, a technological solution to financial problems”
Methodology:
The first DASH Guayana conference aims to approach simple and introductory subjects that help the people to understand and trust in the ecosystem. This conference will consist in two parts: a theory part and a practical part.
In the theoretical part, the following presentations will be made:
- Financial technologies based on Blockchain.
- What is DASH and how does it work?
- ¿How to buy DASH?
- Legal and accounting framework of cryptocurrencies in our country.
Later, in the practical part it’ll be carried out a “DASH City” following the example from Caracas, Venezuela, showing in real time the use of DASH as payment method.
Here, the people that’ll be there, will be able to make real transactions using DASH as payment method with their smartphones (thanks to the giveaways that we’ll give), exchanging their DASH for products and services in a dedicated space for this and testing the functionality and benefits of DASH, conversing and enjoying of the atmosphere while being involucrate.
We’ll invite 50 entrepreneurs and initiatives of the region from different economical and social sectors: Foods, garments, cosmetics and even NGO’s so people can make donations. This way, they’ll be able to offer their products and labors pricing their products in DASH and be known. So both merchants and users will be able to understand the dynamics of these operations and will come out more prepared to use this payment method.
Along with the conference to educate the general public, we believe it is important to hold talks and alliances with the commercial cameras, universities and other important economic groups in the area. Understanding that in this way, we will achieve both natural and beneficial growth for Dash because we will take its use to the development of regional trade.

We have analyzed all aspects of the pre-proposal and have reduced the costs to keep our project as economical and efficient as possible for the DASH community, optimizing resources and maximizing returns.

Conclusion
With the help of this community and the alliances with other initiatives of the country, we’re totally sure we can achieve the conversion of Venezuela into a true DASH Nation, getting all its benefits to mitigate the effects of the economical crisis in the country. This implies a major volume of transactions for DASH and a greater amount of active users.
