Who are we?
We are a group of engineers who work in four different cities (Shanghai, Wuxi, Shenzhen, Chicago) across U.S.A and China. In the past two years, we've been working on developing ASIC for X11 coins. And in the past few months, we have some breakthroughs on miners. Obviously, we have huge confidence on Dash which leads us to develop ASIC miner, even though the market isn't mature back then.

Why announcing the news now?
A few months ago, we announced we have an explorer version of X11 Miner. And we made a small batch of miners test the water of the market but we didn't deliver. The whole teams were split since then. Hearing about recent development on ASIC miner in Dash community, I contacted my past teammate to see how's everything going with them. It turned out that one of our engineers who is working with another vendor had a breakthrough, and performance is good enough for us to announce the news. PinIdea will be the only distributor for the Shooter Chip X11 Miners.

When and how will the new models be shipped?
50 devices would be available next month. Estimated to be shipped by the April 8th, 2016 via UPS, SF-Express from Mainland China. Update: April 15th is the latest shipping date now because of heat sinks replacement

Is it legit?
If you're living in Chicago, I'd be willing to demo it for you in person. In the past few days, we've been trying to arrange tests for someone trusted in Dash community. For anyone who is concerned about the legitimacy of the miners, we strongly recommend waiting for the test run report before buying.

Support Linux (Tested only on Ubuntu), Windows
Also, support running with Raspberry PI

pinidea.io isn't updated with this news. Maybe you could update it.

Can you provide a cost estimate?

Woow! Interesting. The race is on before they're actually delivering. Very different from the pre-order vs spec promis vs vaporware scame we saw with litecoin. This is also very new and promising in the world of crypto!

soleo - ETA fo availability? Price?

This is very bad news for the DASH community.
Decentralization - is one of the main ideas of Bitcoin and DASH.
There will be no independent pools for Bitcoin soon. A few years later it happens to DASH.
It is necessary to change the algorithm of mining, imho.

Asic developers mining six months in the shade, now they want to sell these Asics and earn more money.

I remember these guys from a few months back. I emailed them requesting more information about selling one. They had USB prototypes similar to DualMiner USB's that they decided not to sell and removed all traces of its existence from the internet.

If it is them, they seemed legit and refunded my money when they decided not to sell.

I live in Chicago and would be down to come check it out. Also how much?
The price is 500 Dash. And PM me to schedule a time slot so that you could see the demo in person.

I may be willing to check it out in Chicago. Send me a PM on available dates. Also, what is the cost for this device?
500 Dash.

If it is them, they seemed legit and refunded my money when they decided not to sell.

Yep, that's us. It was a difficult decision we have to make. But now we're confident about the product we're going to deliver.

What does it do?

It embedded with Dash wallet program and store full blockchain.
If you have more than 1000 Dash, it can act as masternode.
The goal for the device is to speed up the whole process of making payment and make Dash even more suitable and convienient for real-life use cases.

Can you tell us a story?
How long has the team been together?
What skill sets do the team members have?
When did you get the sample chips?
What die size is the chip?
How many chips did your run produce?
What are your long term plans?

soleo hello and welcome!

Few notes.
I cleaned up this time for you but please use single message to reply to many people instead of bloating the thread with multiple messages. Otherwise it's getting hard to read.
Also please keep your first post updated with new info (price, specs, ETA etc). By doing this you'll help others to be always aware of the actual proposal.

Thanks.
