Old backup restore support

Hi, first time around. Here is the thing, sorry if it is already answered, but couldn't find it.
I am having a problem restoring an old wallet, (it is encrypted and i do have the pwd). The backup has the structure of:
a data folder
and info file
and a wallet file

I've created the backup sometime ago using an old dash version. I remember buying some dash to support the cause. For some reason I haven't been able to restore it, which i would like. If anyone have a clue, i would really appreciate some help.

You will have to provide more details, what is the error when you have replaced the wallet.dat in the dash roaming folder?

Hi Sub-Ether, thanks a lot for your response. That is the thing, i do not see a .dat file. Somehow (sorry for not having details) i have a folder for the backup with a file with an "info" extension, another with a "wallet" extension and a data folder, with multiple sub folders: "key-backup", "rolling-backup", "wallet-backup", "wallet-unenc-backup"

tuxxus, I think what you've got there is a Multibit BTC (only) wallet. Not a DASH (or DRK) wallet. Please, check it again in your backups. You might have something else for DASH/DRK there.

I was thinking exactly the same raganius as the extensions are rather uncommon for dash.

How old is your wallet for dash insted?
Does it remember darkcoin?

Hi all, I think i made this backup around a 6 months ago (very aprox.). Anyway as there wasn't a huge amount inside i will just be more careful next time, since I undestand i do not have enough data to share here. Some weeks ago i had to switch distro and did not take the time to correctly check and test this backup.
Thanks to all for the quick support anyway. Dashtalk looks like a nice place to be around. Appreciate.

As a last ditch wallet recovery attempt, I have done a hard drive deep search for the key word 'wallet.dat' using something like recuva my files, this should show some old wallet versions if they were not over written, it is time consuming though, a deep scan can take hours, depends if its worth it or not.
