Is there a way to change the amount of Dash requested in a proposal?

I messed up, got confused between the Dash to create the proposal with the Dash requested .. Is there a way of changing this ? or will I have to create a new proposal ? .. In that case I would lose the Dash ?

You will have to resubmit, yes, the amount requested is locked on the blockchain.

Don't waste the proposal, you can use it to ask a question, eg

Dear MNOs,

Here is the plan, I have this website service for Dash <url> would like to request funding for it, there are two options.
Vote no if the next proposal should ask for 1 Dash per month to cover hosting fees + no DEV.
Vote yes if the next proposal should ask for {X} Dash per month to cover hosting fees + active Dev.
Which ever option gets more votes is the version of proposal I submit next.
