I have been at 8 days behind for more than 20 minutes... Its moving but really slow compared to usual.
 
Just tried deleting the the peers.dat again... It loaded 1 days worth then the wallet went unresponsive and crashed, right before it said to check my clock on my computer but its at the right time and day. I'll try again... Thanks for the help btw

edit: got the clock window again, that seems to pop up each time I start the wallet... Definitely something weird, so this time it loaded a few days worth and then the downloading stuck at 3 days left, its just staying there now, I'll let you know if it works itself out but its been like this fortwo days now...

Is it getting stuck at the same block? If I were you, I'd go the bootstrap route. Won't explain why the hang but should at least get you fully synced to the current blockheight on the right blockchain.
 
Yes its stuck at the same block. I've heard about bootstrap but haven't done that before, I'll look into it. Super lag right now that's for sure... I'll try again later. Thanks!

Do you have a screenshot of this "clock" window? Also can I have debug.log pls? [email protected]
 
I'll get right on it, thanks UdjinM6 coming up, So it loads until the time window pops up and then it stops at that block. Also I left the time window open for a few seconds and it crashed again. I just sent you an email.

I wouldn't call 100 KB/s download speed fast man. We need to figure out something so people can sync at their max speed which in my case is 100 Mbit/s.

Lol it crashed on Sync on Win 8.1.

Check your clock again - it says Feb 26 on screenshot and in logs...

wow... must have been asleep. I just changed that, not too sure how that happened... thanks UdjinM6. So wrong time and day affects the wallet, good to know..

Yep, you need to have correct time. However I can't reproduce crash here on mac yet... It completely hangs instead :what:
