How to open an address wich I already know ?

Hi guys, I have a strange problem.

I bought Dash on wesellcrypto website but just before the payment I download and install Dashcoin wallet and I give them a Dashcoin address.
At this moment I did not realize that Dashcoin IS NOT Dashpay ! The We sell crypto support told me that the transaction has been accepted by the Dashpay blockchain, why ? I don't know... A Dashcoin address is different than a Dashpay address so I don't know how all of this is possible.

But btw, now I need to open a dashpay wallet wich I already know (as the title says), how can I do that ?

Don't hesitate if I need to reexplain something ^^

The name is Dash.

Not Dashcoin, Dashpay, Dashgirl or Dashboard. Dashpay is just the site which hosts the Dash homepage, but that's just because the domain "dash" wasn't available any more.

You can download the wallet for your operating system here: https://www.dashpay.io/downloads/

Install it, generate a new receiving address (File -> Receiving Addresses: click on "New") and give this address to whoever should send you Dash.

BTW, it's not possible to send Dash to a Dashcoin (or whateverelse crypto currency) address, the sending wallet will tell you that it's not a valid Dash address.

I just tried to fill that form by myself and it seems like they have bug there:
- choose Dash
- found some random address D3z2DDWygoZU4NniCNa4oMjjKi45dC2KHUWUyD1RZ1pfgnRgcHdfLVQgh5gmRv4jwEjCX5LoLERAf5PbjLS43Rkd8vFUM1m and entered in "Dash address" field and it became "successfully validated" (green)
- checked through network inspector and response from server was "{"validate": true, "data": [610, "The address is not valid for the specified currency"], "success": true}" which is obviously a mistake/error/issue

There is no way tx with such address could get into Dash blockchain so most likely they just have wrong record in their own internal DB.
I would contact them, explain all above and ask for refund (or for a new transfer to a real Dash address you control).
