hi guys, hope you had a great weekend.

we ( me and my team) are planning to work on revolutionary fraud prevention idea by using digital certificates issued on blockchain ( these ideas are not entirely new ..fyi)

the idea is the following,

Colleges and companies will issue a digital certificate on blockchain stating that the student or employee has studied/worked with them

Since there is time stamp and the records are virtually tamper proof, this provides a fool proof way of proving that you indeed worked or studied in the place you are claiming to

Colleges / companies will have a well established wallets that people will slowly start trusting like the famous wiki leaks address ( https://blockchain.info/address/1HB5XMLmzFVj8ALj6mfBsbifRoD4miY36v )

This idea will be primarily be rolled out in developing countries as there is massive amounts spent on background verification. In countries like India recruiters state that over 50% of applications lie on their resumes/CV, which means companies are forced to spend massively on background verification and this problem is pretty much prevalent in many parts of the world and right now there is no easy way to killing it

why we choose Dash instead of bitcoin ?

The biggest one is this , dash transactions are pretty cheap compared to bitcoin. As we want to scale this system to massive levels , we plan to enrol as many students and colleges on this platform as possible, for whom it will be given for free for which the txn costs need to as cheap as possible

second one, dash is only currency that provides funding with its treasury

Third one, incase bitcoin unlimited doesnt go through, transactions on bitcoin blockchain will easily be cost prohibitive

what are funding requirements ?
we plan to be as economic with our funds obviously

10 dash to develop a video on this concept and launch it on youtube, 100 dash to finish the development work and hosting a website

50-100 dash per month for marketing this product and any ongoing development ( this is totally dependent on whether the team is happy with our activities and it will be a next proposal )

The primary market for roll out is India , post which we will expand into Africa & SE Asia and then developed countries

although the qualification fraud in developed countries is not as prevalent in developing countries its still not rare ( http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/27/us/27mit.html )

we think overall this technology is very useful in decreasing fraud and lying on resumes

What are the benefits of this to dash ?

our product increases the reach and visibility on dash massively in the eyes of public, as every one is expected to have a dash wallet to receive all this digital certificates

should we get funded , we will only use dash for the underlying blockchain of our website

In your contract with the Dash community, you should clarify who owns the website you gonna built. This was a point of confict in the past, when another website was created using dash's budget money, a dash slack place made in order to promote dash. The one who created that site, he sold it after some time and this slack site after being sold, it finally evolved to a general cryptoplace not used to advertise dash. This was a shock for the masternodes.

This happened of course because the stupid masternodes voted for him without clarifying who owns the website after its creation, how long this ownership last, and what happens after the initial ownership expires.

Thanks for raising that ,our development involves multiple updates on that , any one can put a record on Blockchain that's not the point here

It's the wrapper on that ,that matters

We will make sure it's extremely easy and at the same time reliable for the end users

Because the data is sensitive( certificates) we cant put the entire text on Blockchain we need to just put a hash of it as validation while the original text lies in our database , this along with a really simple UI is what we are planning for.

Remember the key is building the bridges between the colleges, companies and government without which any software is useless
