Great presentation, and great work by all involved. I see the value in each mockup.
I imagine that the slick, 'beginner level' interface (by chris if I recall correctly), which is very impressive, could be the default style when the app is installed.
Yet, in settings there could be a setting for 'wallet style', or 'interface style' where you could choose between the simplified interface and an 'advanced' interface. A techie would spend maybe 15 minutes poking around the beginner interface, and once has explored it, then head into settings, enable 'advanced interface', where he has all the bells and whistles available to him, including dark/night mode which I prefer.
A beginner, grandma, would likely remain in the beginner interface indefinitely, and it would serve her just fine, but those who like the more typical wallet interface could choose it if they desired.
I think there's a way to please the vast majority of users with just a couple options.
