Just completed loading blockchain, but Wallet is stuck in Disabled Status ? How can I get it to continue ? I can't do anything until it completes.

If you mean "Status: Disabled" under "Darksend" pane then it just means that you are not mixing your coins with anybody. You can send/receive funds as usual however.
And if you want to start mixing your coins you have to press "Start Darksend Mixing" button down below.
And if you want to start mixing your coins you have to press "Start Darksend Mixing" button down below.

No....that's not it....it's on the main page where it states..."STATUS: Disabled. It seems to indicate no databases have been generated. Then under that "completion" with a bar indicating "0%". The % never changes.

I currently have no darkcoins yet.....so start mixing wouldn't work now. I have Armory running, and thought databases would have to be built before wallet could be used. Only other thing I've noticed when running test_darkcoin is it complains about error in "AlertNotify". Do I need to add something in .conf ? Also, am I mistaken that Wallet isn't working correctly ?
Yep, start mixing needs some coins to work but everything else should already work just like in any other wallet.
I'n not sure what darkcoin_test is but if it's a link to start wallet on testnet then it might tell you that you need to upgrade or smth like that because we just started InstantX testing. You are welcome to join us there https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v0-11-1-x-instantx-release-testing.3826/ You can also ask there for some testnet coins and try to mix it
